ABOUT

MISSION & BRIEF HISTORY

Antic is a production company that champions vital work and innovative artists. We develop and produce projects that promote collaboration and new perspectives, elevating stories that demand to be told today.

Founded as ‘Antic Face’ in 2014, the company’s inaugural production of Hippolytos was staged in a found space under the Victoria and Albert Museum. With a focus on new writing, Antic went on to produce two world premieres, For Those Who Cry When They Hear The Foxes Scream (Tristan Bates) and School Play (Southwark Playhouse), and the acclaimed UK premiere of Jen Silverman’s Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties (Southwark Playhouse). Other work has included cabaret varieties such as Carmina Victoriana (Wilton’s Music Hall), Tom Rasmussen’s Crystal Presents: The Bible 2 (Underbelly & Soho Theatre) and, for screen, award-winning short film Full English
